What: ABD Rear Swaybar
Why: The A4 platform has a loosey-goosey tail and suffers a great deal from understeer. The rear swaybar mitigates this to a fairly large degree, making the car much more neutral. With the proper corner entry, you can even drift an A4 car around a corner if your rear way is setup properly.
What I would do differently: Nothing. I know the purists out there will laugh ... but a sway bar is a sway bar. This is not a track car, it's a daily driver. The suspension doesn't have to be tuned perfectly, and any old swaybar will do when driving on the street. Any 23mm - 28mm swaybar will be just fine for 99.9% of the population driving on the street.
