What: Valentine 1 Radar / Laser Detector

Why: This should be self explanatory. The V1 is considered by many to be the best radar detector ever made. The top radar detector slot is divided into two camps... the Valentine 1 camp and the Bell X50 camp. Pick your poison... It's kind of like the Ford/Chevy rivalry. In the end, both are pretty much equal, no matter what anyone says. They both have strengths and weaknesses, but when compared to any other model, they are far superior. The only difference between the V1/Bell camps and the Ford/Chevy camps is the fact that both Ford and Chevy suck ass. I know. I've owned both and they both suck huge monkey testical.

What I would do differently: I wouldn't order the Concealed Display. It's a good idea, and it's really cool in the right application... but in the VW, I couldn't find any place to put the concealed display that made sense. I also couldn't find any place to put the V1, other than smack in the middle of the windshield that made sense either. Couple those two things together and the concealed display is rather redundant.
